Advising — ARTICLE 7 –
(1) An academic advisor from among the teaching staff is assigned to each student upon the recommendation of the relevant Department Chairmanship and the decision of the relevant board.
(2) The advisor monitors the student and assists them in resolving issues related to their education. The student's registration renewal, course enrollment, and add-drop procedures are carried out with the advisor's approval within the framework of these Regulations.
(3) An advisor who will be absent from the University during the registration period due to a valid excuse shall notify the Department Chairmanship in writing. The Department Chair shall temporarily assign another faculty member in place of the advisor and announce this to the relevant units and students.
